Sandra Bullock, wins Oscar!

Who doesn't know Sandra Bullock, for example from the Successful hit Movie SPEED I & II, (1994/1997) directed by the Dutch director Jan de Bont.

Although she also recently was voted as worst for an other movie, yesterday Sandra Bullock won an Oscar!

Copenhagen Climate Conference and 'The Core'

In the Video above you can see - amungst other things - a great animation about how our earth is protected by our Magnetic Fields, It reminded me of a Movie I saw some time ago, a Movie titled: 'The Core' a Movie starring Hilary Swank and Aaron Eckhart, an interesting Movie where the workings of the Inner Core responsible for the Earth's Magnetic Fields protects us from the STAR-Power of the Sun.

It's an Entertaining Movie with nice special effects where because of a (man made) disturbance in the Inner Core of the Planet, the Magnetic Fields decrease causing increased Northern- and Southern Lights to appear and extreme climate changes. Since Climate Change is such a HOT Topic these day's, this Entertaining, Thrilling and Spectecular Movie is definitely something you want to put under your christmas tree.

Well with the big success of Harry Potter I wonder why I haven't put it on here yet.
It obviously is amazing how the writer JK. created such a great Magical World everybody likes to read, and how the Movie Makers succeeded in making all this Magic into a Reality, yes indeed Magic can be Real look at the numbers fantacy can be Reality it is exactly as Albert Einstein said:

I remember having seen his unusual 3-D movie
at Disney Worlds Tomorrowland twice!

Here below you can see the Film Poster, I haven't seen any DVD's or Video's
from Captain EO, but that probably has to do with the fact that it's a 3-D movie and as far as I know only shown in Disney World.

And as most people know he also had his own 'Disney World', 'Neverland'

Why on earth look at Movies about Phantom Ships?

I remember when I went to the movie 'The Titanic', a Movie about a sunken ship. I thought to myself;

'I know that the boat sunk,
so why bother to look at the movie?'

Appeared that it was an incredible movie afterall, they made it real interesting to watch because they begun the story with the shipwrek at the bottom of the sea, and than they showed 'the Ghosts from the Past' Telling the story (backwards) in a great an compelling way after all.

The same with Pirate Movies, why have a look at Pirates or Ghost Pirates?
Well Jonny Depp really created an incredible Fun character in this movie, and also the special effects are pretty amazing!

So if you haven't seen it yet, or want to see it again, those movies devinitely belong into your collection. Also included a Banner-link with the movies on

Since I was looking for one or more books - written by the Dutch
Writer/Photo Model/Actress Daphne Dekkers - to put on HP's Happy BOOKS Blogspot I was searching on 'the Net' looking to find one (or more) of her books and since Daphne is also a Screen Writer, it reminded me of an other interesting book (from an other author) to put on my HP's Happy WRITING Blogspot )

'During my search(es) I accidentally stumbled at something else
that's suitable for THIS (Movie) Blogspot'.

Because Daphne has had an appearance in the James Bond Movie 'Tomorrow Never Dies'. (and she also appeard in a PlayBoy Special about 'Bond Girls'.)

Talking about 'Bond Girls', Daphne is not the only Dutch Actress that appeared in a James Bond Movie

Strangely enough casting agencies haven't yet contacted me to play the role of James Bond, but this Bond is also a good one!

You might think that it's the famous actor himself, but it goes without saying that if you look carefully you will see that it's just me getting to the filmset for a new episode of James Bond.

The Movie Shrek III

Some Months ago - infact it was in the year 2007 - the Actors Camaron Diaz and Antonio Banderas - that do the voices of some of the characters in the Shrek Movie - where here in The Netherlands near where I live. (I live near the Dutch Broadcasting Stations.) They where here doing interviews to promote the new Shrek Movie. Other Great voices in the movie are done by Eddy Murphy (the most commercially successful African-American actor in the history of Motion Pictures.) he is doing 'the Donkey'. Mike Meyers is the voice behind Shrek himself and the King is done by John Cleese.

Although I haven't yet seen this Movie myself yet, I did see some "Trailers". It seems to be a Fun movie.....,

It just seems to scream to be on my Happy Blogspot. It's an animated movie with voices by various famous actors like for example: Nicole Kidman, Elijah Wood, Brittany Murphy and Hugh Jackman.

It's all about the Motto: "Dare to be Different"
